4. Ordering & Purchase Agreement

4.1 How to Place an Order

4.3 Order Modifications & Cancellations

• Cancellation must be requested before we start processing (picking/packing)

After Dispatch:

• Order cannot be modified or cancelled
• You must wait for delivery and use our return/refund process if dissatisfied
• Cancellation of shipped orders will result in return charges

Return for Cancellation:

• If you receive an order and want to cancel, follow our Return Policy
• You may be liable for return shipping costs (unless order was our error)

5. Payment & Billing

5.1 Payment Methods Accepted

5.2 Payment Processing & Security

Payment Processing:

• Payments are processed through PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways (Razorpay, PayU, etc.)
• We do NOT store your full credit/debit card details
• Card data is encrypted and transmitted securely
• Payment is debited from your account only after authorization

Payment Authorization:

• Your bank may send OTP or 3D secure verification
• Authorization confirms payment has been deducted from your account
• If authorization fails, the transaction will be reversed

Failed Payments:

• If payment fails, your order will NOT be processed
• You will receive a failure notification email
• You can retry payment or select a different payment method
• No amount is charged if payment fails

5.3 Billing & Invoices

GST & Taxes:

• All prices include GST (5% or applicable rate)
• For B2B purchases, GST invoice will be provided
• For B2C purchases, tax invoice (bill) will be emailed after order dispatch

Invoice Details:

• Invoice will contain order number, items, quantities, prices, GST, total amount
• Invoice is proof of purchase and warranty
• Keep invoice safe for warranty claims and returns

Duplicate/Amended Invoices:

• Contact us for duplicate invoices (retain for records)
• Amended invoices issued for corrections (we cannot alter original)

5.4 Currency & Exchange Rates

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹)
• International orders may be quoted in USD or other currency (converted at real-time rates)
• Currency conversion rates are applied by payment gateways; we have no control over rates
• Bank charges for foreign transactions are your responsibility

5.5 Billing Disputes

If you dispute a charge:

1. Contact us within 5 days of transaction at info@growbags.in
2. Provide transaction ID, order number, and reason for dispute
3. We will investigate within 7 business days
4. We will issue a refund or explanation

Chargeback Process:

• If you file a chargeback with your bank without contacting us first, we may:

6. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

• Plant & Biological Products: 7 days (higher perishability)
• Tools & Non-Perishables: 14 days
• Seeds (sealed packs): 14 days

Condition for Acceptance:

• Product must be in original condition (unopened/unused for biological products)
• Must have original packaging and invoice
• Must not show signs of misuse or damage
• Must include all accessories and documentation

6.2 Refund Timeline

Processing:

• Return inspection: 3–5 business days after receiving returned item
• Refund initiation: 1–2 business days after approval
• Bank processing: 3–7 business days (varies by bank)
• Total timeline: 7–14 business days from return receipt to refund in your account

Refund Amount:

• Full refund of product price + original shipping charges (if return is our error)
• Partial refund (₹100–200 deduction for return shipping cost if return is customer initiated)
• No refund for shipping if item was delivered correctly and customer changed mind

6.3 Non-Returnable Items

The following items are NOT eligible for return:

• Opened or used biological products (seeds, vermicompost, fertilizers)
• Items showing signs of use or damage from customer mishandling
• Items purchased on final sale/clearance basis
• Items damaged due to customer negligence or improper storage
• Custom or made-to-order items (unless defective)

6.4 Exchanges

Product Exchange:

• If you receive a defective item, we offer a FREE replacement
• No return shipping charge if replacement is for our error
• Damaged items replaced with expedited shipping at no cost

Size/Variety Exchange:

• If you want to exchange for a different size or type, return shipping cost is your responsibility
• Replacement product ships at standard rate
